best bpv?

hey guys. i know this topic has been covered a million times but i cant find anything here... my car is 100% stock

...... well i only want to get a intake, bpv and maybe an exhaust...... and maybe a few other things.. dunno my last car i ended throwing a supercharger in it sooo i know ill probably change my mind... well i always loved hearing a bov but since that cause problems.. what's the best quality and loudest sounding bpv for this car? and any 1 know if mazdaspeed is ever putting back out their intake? if not im gonna get cobb.. well thanks guys.

get the forge.

ive had about them all..

as far as sound the Turbo XS RLF is the best sounding and loudest.

But as far as making your car hold boost and run well, the forge owns. Super easy to use. Just get it.

The only thing I don't like about the Forge is the "ping" sound. It hasn't stopped me from taking it off though

Forge by far... people dont like the sound, i actually do and the cops dont even look at it.

I have the HKS version 2 and love it. Nice sound in recirc (not the signature bird chirp) and asthetically VERY pleasing sitting in the engine bay. You can hear it, but it is not loud and obnoxious like the RFL is IMO. That sucker is LOUD! Boost seems to hold better with the HKS as well. Honestly, you probably can't go wrong with any of them. They will all be a definite improvement over stock.

is the Turbo XS RFL a bov or bpv ? i can only find bov.. im not a big fan of the way the forge sounds..

what about the Mazdaspeed 3 & 6 Hybrid Blow Off Valve (MS3-HYB) Turbo XS - WRX, STi, EVO SRT4, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Turbo, Turbocharged.. any 1 know how that sounds? and i know it says no backfire or stumbling but is that true.. i thought i heard ppl having problems with it.

The "ping" sound will go away after break in.

Had mine for 6 months and it still pings. I like the sound though, but I think I'm fairly alone on this. Definite improvement over stock.

I like mine too, but i run a blue spring with 2 shims and it sounds cool. People do infact, notice it.

I run a blue with 2. I had someone ask me if my car was broken once hehe. I can get it to actuate pretty easy and I like to annoy my neighbors, so I always have fun pulling in and out.

I just put my HKS ssqv in. Noticeable improvement. If I were to go back and do it again I'd rethink about going for the forge just b/c its simple, cheap and effective. I just personally really like the sound of the HKS.

I've not heard good things about the Greddy BOV, tendency to tear.

The Synapse is good, but its a little big and I think has some fitment problems.

It will come down to what you prefer, if you don't mind the sound of the Forge, I would reccomend it. Otherwise I say go HKS

if you want the forge to stop pinging move up to the red spring . it is not much more stiff than blue+2 and it just makes a clean whooosh sound. when my car was less modded i did get some cmopressor surge. now that i have tons of mods it does not surge.

i have the rfl it is VTA only or BOV only sounds sick!!! holds boost much better than stock and you need the standback to cut fuel between shifts so it won't run rich. But from what i know Forge is the best all around if your looking for performance.

doesnt the HKS SSQV have problems fitting with a cobb intake? i plan on getting a cobb intake, i was gonna get a ms cai but u cant buy them now..

sounds different depending on your set up with shims and springs...someone should do a sound bite for all different opts...
