| Does the HKS use a diaphragm like the greddy? I've heard of those ripping and I always wondered if HKS had the same problem (or Synapse for that matter) |

| It does, and it will eventually wear out or tear, but I'm pretty sure the HKS valve is more durable than the greddy.
The synapse does NOT use a diaphragm.

I have on my Mirage Tial and never had any problems. Currently runing 30psi and 75 shot of NOS and no problem whatsoever with the Tial. |

HKS SSQ does not need adjustment because is not a piston type BOV is a pull type. HKS Super SQV (Sequential Blow Off Valve) uses a unique sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system, which
allows for a broad operating range from low boost to high boost. Its Pull-Type relief design ensures stable operation regardless of the amount of boost pressure. The Super SQV will support new generations of turbocharged vehicles.
Typical push-type blow off valves require spring load settings for each
vehicle specification. If the spring load setting is too low, the valve may leak
under high boost and the desired boost setting may not be reach. If the spring load setting is too strong, it may not open at low boost. The Super SQV will operate under any boost pressure setting without leaking.
Ive tried in my Mirage many brands and the best that have worked is Tial, but on my Mazda I just added today a HKS SSQ and it works great! |

| Been using the HKS SSQ Version 1.
with the stock airbox you can't hear a chirp or anything I am happy with it..
I have the AGP recirc kit ( I'll be posting a quick how to , even though its a 10 min max install time ) |

Rep Power: 0 | just my prefrence but i had a 04 wrx with a CAI and a turbo xs RFL and yes u could hear the turbo spool nicely and i loved that bov......but i bought a more upscale vehicle with the mazda for the refinement...and the sleeper qualities....i will eventually settle on the bov that makes the least noise...just my two cents

Rep Power: 0 | I bought the HKS v2 with the MS3 adapter and recirculation kit made by HKS, and it cost me only $245 shipped to Puerto Rico. I bought it from Vivid Racing. They matched the same price as AGP. The parts were sent really fast directly from HKS. |

| I just installed the Forge BPV today. I think it sounds great and the boost seems to come on quicker, hold longer and is more consistent vs. the stocker. |

I couldn't believe the difference in BPV and turbo sound I heard after getting the FMIC on. It almost makes my HKS sound like a BOV instead of a BPV. Even on light shifts (5psi), it is twice as loud.
