We catch a few too. They are the dumbest animals in terms of road sense that were ever created. May be hard to believe but I see at least 3 dead on the side of the road every day and have just missed a few myself. They can do some real damage as well. Write off your car if you hit a big un

Must be a marsupial thing, because opossums fill that role here (minus the big damage to the car since they are small.)

No shit captain, roo is becoming very popular. Croc not so much. A lot of hype about lower in cholesterol etc. They used to cull them just cause there is to many and just use for pet food. Had this great meat all the time and the country has only recently woken up to it. The indigenous dudes have been eating if for thousands of years of course

Yup. Steak, stews whatever. Same as any other game meat. The tail has always been prized. Solid muscle through and through. Kangaroo tail soup has been served in top class restaurants for years. Come on down and I will shout you a roo burger. Don't know if it will ever make to a macca' menu though
