100% stock Speed3 2010 Knock Retard
 

i have a 100% stock 2010 mazdaspeed3 with 55K miles.
i change oil regularly but i have yet to replace sparkplugs.

i am getting this hesitation on the motor and what sounds like a hemmering sound to metal for about 1 second becaus ei immediately let go.
complete loss of engine power.

again, car is 100% stock

i've been told it could be leaky inj seals?

it usually happens when i accelerate to merge into traffic on 5th gear, sometimes on lower gears

has happens about 5 times so far.

any ideas?
i'm taking the car in for service, anything i should tell the dealer?

car has never been molested, always used premium gas 93oct.

55K on your stock plugs... oh god. That's not very smart in this car. After 25K on my stock plugs they looked like black death. Change them out ASAP. I change mine every 15K.

The metal sound might be vvt.

Your engine is knocking for some reason, which results in the the ecu cutting timing, and you lose power. You need to figure out why its knocking. Bad gas? Boost leak?

yea, i'll be changing plugs today.
and taking car in on monday.
