2nd GEN DP on 1st GEN?
 

So A buddy (campbell on here) that blew is buying a new stock engine, instead of a built one..

I'm wanting to keep this one from possibly blowing up again.. Anyway does anyone know if a stock gen2 DP will fit on the 1st gen without problems?

Also what else is suggested to keep this from blowing? We are ordering HPFP internals.

His car has a Corksport Full Exhaust, Corksport DP, Cobb AP, Cobb SRI, Streetunit RMM, Suspension Cobb Stage 2 Kit.

I'm thinking throw my DP on it, take off the Cobb AP OTS maps and unmarry it so he can sell it for a CP-E SB. Then get him an appointment to get some tuning done when the SB and HPFP internals come in..
