Lots of mechanics have fucked up this repair in the past. Fucking up this repair can mean needing a new engine.
Are those tools available in edge store? He probably has any kind of tool we can imagine (as he has done plenty of timing chain and variable sys fixes) but if its completely Mazda specific...

I know this is the engine's heart, but if there is someone I trust this is him, you know, he's not a friend of mine, but he really manages really incredible and hard mechanical situations.

Yes, they're Mazda-specific tools.

I did a quick search and came up with this: Massive Speed System Timing Tool Kit Mazdaspeed 3 2007-2013 / Mazdaspeed 6 2006-2007 - EdgeAutosport.com

I'm not familiar with the "Massive Speed" brand, but I imagine it'll hold up fine for a single VVT swap.

Understood. Just wanted you to be aware of the risk involved.

Purchased too.

Finally just want to confirm that this kit is going to fit my MAZDA 3 MPS built in December 2006.

I guess it is the very MS3 with European name.

And I guess too, it is the same 2007 version.

Mazda3 MPS, Mazdaspeed3, Mazdaspeed Axela... All the same thing for the most part.

A 12/2006 build date means the vehicle is technically an '07 model (as far as the US market, anyhow). There is no '06 MS3.

If it makes you feel any better, the build date of my MS3 is 11/2006 and I used these same parts.

Got it.

Another different point, in order to fix the smoke of the turbo, people use to put some restrictor bolt in the turbo.

My turbo doesn't almost smoke but just in case I want to buy it. Is it available in that edge store?

In addition, with this fix I'll need to change the oil, is it a good idea to maintain 10w30 or should I change it to 10w40?
