(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Big thank you to Chad, Kurt, and Randy. We did this with a jack and jackstands, and a large assortment of tools. Hand tools would work, but the power/air tools we used definately cut down on time. At first, the clutch engagement was at the very bottom (all the way depressed). It was kinda awkward at first. Through the course of the 60 mile drive home, it started to settle in. The pedal engagement is slightly stiffer, but in the middle of the throw. I like the feel and engagement alot. The lightweight flywheel is definately noticable. The engine free revs and drops noticably quicker. As i said. More to come. -Sean

| Not Ranked : 0 score it will chatter, and regardless your going to get noise with the deletion of a dual mass. the noise will come when its broken in, when you slip the clutch a bit to get it going. sounds like rurrrrr.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score the spec is like 599 + the cost of any upgrades. you can use this with the stock flywheel, or you can use this with the fidanza light weight flywheel. the act's are around 750 give or take the deal you find. But that includes the cost of a flywheel. the Organic full faced street disc is a good step up from stock. Their torque capacities are known to be underrated.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score errr... shifting isnt exactly nicer. drivability of the car obviously took a hit. not a horrible one, but definately a downgrade in drivability with this 6puck version. However, the revs are quicker, and i will be able to launch the shit out of it on slicks or drag radials. next. wotbox. then, back to the track.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Id rather not. Id rather run a bigger pump, if i can find a way to get it in there.

I'm not 100% sure that the MS3 and MS6 share the same fuel bucket but if they do, be prepared to spend $130 for the tool to remove the pump from the tank and hundreds of dollars buying different drop in pumps that don't fit I have a 260lph SARD pump sitting here that is closest to fitting, but still doesn't fit. Paid $330 for it....neat paper weight

| Not Ranked : 0 score So how is the clutch doing? I have a HUGE feeling im gonna need an upgrade soon. Mine has 30k on it now and feels good as new. My last dyno showed 335ft/lbs of TQ, so with my nitrois i should be right around 400ft/lbs. I just dont think the stocker will hold it... Not long anyways. I know the ACT street kit is only rated to 365ft/lbs so that is prett useless IMO. I would need the puck clutch as well. I kinda would rather the fidanza/spec stage 3+ though. It is a full face clutch that will hold about the same power as the ACT puck design. The problem is that combo costs twice as much !!

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score the padal is stiffer, the engagement is rough at times. Whoosh, im thinking of having a local shop make a new tank hat/bucket. Im prepared to spend some cash on it if it means i can be comfortable running nitrous.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score with this clutch, i am able to consistently hit 1.9 60's, on drag radials. after the 60' though, all hell breaks loose, i ordered new LCA bushings... our pumps arent proven to run at 16v currently (thank you for being a test pig tru) and by the time im there, it may very well be an option. hell, by the time im there, maybe a company will have a drop in tank upgrade... i think once i get wheelhop under control, ill be able to be a little harsher on the launch to get the 60's down. but im happy with 1.9's on drag radials for now.

| Not Ranked : 0 score 1.9's is good for DRs. I run full slicks and usually get 1.8-1.9's. I also get zero wheelhop. Slicks are way better in that aspect. They hurt you down the track though. Dragging two wide ass hell half flat tires isnt exactly efficient. I have run the stock pump up to 17.5V without issue. Whoosh also had a stock pump flow tested at 16v. It isnt anything to worry about. I currently have been running mine at 15v daily for months.
