Annoying "gunk/clunk" before it goes into gear
 

Hi all

This is starting to annoy me and it happens intermediately, but definitely happens to R/1st/2nd/3rd more often than the higher gears.

I would move the shifter and right before it clicks into gear, and I'd hear this "gunk/clunk" for R/1st/2nd/3rd on its way into gear.

It doesn't matter if the tranny/car is cold or warm. And it happens intermediately but quite audible.

Car is at 75,000miles, any idea what's causing the "gunks/clunks"? Thanks!

Mine does this too... I think they say it's cause of the rear motor mount...... Im going to buy one soon...

I've been riding on CP-E 60 RMM since 20 or 30,000 miles. As for other drivetrain mods:

- Upgraded shifter bushings (forgot which one, probably CS)
- TWM Short Shifter
- Red Barone Heavy Shift Knob
- CP-E 60 RMM

*NOTE*, this annoying gunk/clunk has been happening since I bought the car new. I actually thought the RMM would take care of it, but nope! It's been gunking/clunking away since day 1 and s***'s getting annoying.

2011 With the same issue, mods in sig.

Mine does this and the only mount I have is the street unit one that I got with the car. No other transmission upgrades.
