Anyone have the PG MANIFOLD??
 
Has anyone used the PROTEGEGARAGE exhaust manifold yet? If so what one do you have (IWG or EWG)? Do you like it? Is it worth buying? Were any flanges warped?

I have the V1 PG mani... had it on there for probably year and a half and it's running great :)

I have the V1 version 1 and love it, its a BADASS mod for sure! Boost hits so much harder and faster compared to stock.

Well if anyone wants I have a medeival manifold with all the flanges machined flat and ceramic coated. $650 look at my for sale thread.

i've been waiting months for my medieval manifold and i've given up. $975.00 down the drain. thier a bunch of assholes.

im trying to find the best manifold that holds the most power and i've heard good things about the PG if anyone has any other manifolds that are worth looking at and possibly buying PLEASE let me know i need it ASAP.

My medieval mani has a flange for a 44mm external wastegate. Your not gonna get much better then it. Its heavy duty and the primaries flow into the flange very nicely.

what manifold do you have? does it have an EWG?

Keep an eye on the Race Roots stuff... it's looking pretty good so far.

i wouldnt do the pg, not that i think its a terrible mani, but i think the race roots manifold looks very impressive, especially if you compare the collectors

i have the pg v1 mani and i have nothing but good things to say about it, and nothing but good things to say about PG themselves.

however, that race roots mani is pretty fucking sexy...

PG did not just come on the scene either, they've been around.
Do your own trend study of manifolds for the MS3/6.

thanks everyone for the insite, i really appreciate it. i went with the PG and if medieval ever sends my mani. i'll have that one too hahaha. maybe try and sell one of them if they come but i'm looking to push a lot more then 350WHP so i need something thats reliable and strong. the money isn't an issue. the main reason i went with PG is cause i need the mani. ASAP.

yeah... id go ahead and get try to get that money back from medieval, last time people tried ordering shit from them... it didnt exactly work out..

Ah ok you where referring to the op post. As far as you making more power than me I highly doubt it with the stock exhuast mani, top end may be similar but midrange is greatly enhanced with the upgraded exhuast mani, you should get one its a worthwhile mod.

Yah Im working on it. You should check into the AP and a FMIC, they are worthwhile as well. I could let my car sit for hours and BAT's wont go above mid 120's.

The heat soak when idling is a benefit of a fmic Ive just heard about so many people losing boost with fmic. When I was driving in limp mode (witch is spring rate boost 8-14psi depending on mods. I sent the standback for upgraded and my bypass wire was broken but I didnt know it) I thought I had a boost leak I tried taking off my ets and putting on the stock tmic and my boost went from 14.5psi to 11.5psi, I have dashhawk logs of it. I lost 3psi going form ets to stocker so that made me a fan of ets.

CP-e and P3 have one thats pushing right around 409WHP. don't quote me but i'm pretty sure thats what its pushing.

. 2 ms3s are making over 400hp. your not going to make shit and that manifolds not going to help you. if you wanted to make so much fucking power and wanted a strong mani and price wasnt an issue then you picked the worst one. way to go.

nothing is wrong with the PG manifold.

Right now this motor is capped out 350-380whp.
If you plan on hitting that or exceeding it you are going to need to spend some serious cash.
Getting a Race Roots/Full Race/Custom manifold fabbed up for your stock turbo/similar on stock internals would just plain be retarded.

Those expensive manifolds haven't been proven to net any more gain than the DNP/PG/CP etc.

ATM unless you got some unheard of UFO technology, either manifold is still going to net you less than 400whp.
