anyone running staight pipe tbe
 

I was just wondering if anyone is running a full straight pipe exhaust. i.e no cats, resonators or mufflers. Crazy drone? too loud?

I have 3" all the way to a small fart can. It sounds great...without fart can? Stupid loud.

Yes. I have a corksport catless dp, ebay racepipe and hks cbe. Have some annoying drone around 2500 to 3500 rpm but when I step on the gas I forget all about it.

I run 3" tbe but do have a resonator. sounds great. Just know its going to smell quite "gassy"

I'm running a cp-e down pipe, then the stock pipe, with the resonators and mufflers cut out (replaced with strait pipe). I find mine a little too loud on the highway, the pitch is off, I wish it was a deeper tone, less motorcycle ish.

This forums search is fail, which is why I go to google and put in site:mazdaspeedforums.org blah blah blah (like the two examples in my above post)

It's a google function that returns just hits from whatever you specify after site:

Only problem is it doesn't return VIP links.
