block machining I've done a good bit of combustion chamber shaping/polishing and I need to get a bit of CR back. having already bought pistons that are balanced to the crank, getting 10.6's is out, so, after I get an accurate volume on the chamber when I;m done I'll have an exact number, but lets say for sake of argument I need to skim .020 off can that come off the deck?? it really looks like the sleeves are pressed into a counterbore leaving a pure surface for the head to clamp against. anyone note issues with thinning that counterbore thickness, defomation, liner movement, etc |
