He did 285 on 16 psi and 300 on 18 psi according to the dyno charts. It was bumped down to 16 psi until he installs a catch can. Did he state somewhere else in the thread the other numbers? I didn't feel like reading the other posts lol.

Yeah he was in the shout box talking about it. We'll get him in here and have him tell his highest for the day. Im guessing he got knock at 314 so he had to be "Detuned"

all i asked is whats the harm of using a mbc with the ap, will you clarify it for me if it doesnt bother you sir.

basically the ap is used to control boost and the tune is based off those boost settings, if you change the boost without the ap "knowing" it messes with the tune

+1. Its pretty well known with AP tunes that if you don't use the EXACT mods listed in the map notes (or what you told christian you had as mods) then you will get less than perfect results. I would assume the same would work for any tuning device.

i dont buy this. the car still can read how much boost he is running so it would just go to the tables for those boost levels. i'm not sure running a boost controller lower than what the ecu wants is a problem but i think if you ran it higher you would have problems. i still wouldn't recommend it either way but the AP wouldn't be the one knowing since its a flash and you take the AP out afterwards if you so choose. it would be your ECU not knowing but since it can read the map sensor it would know.

exactly, thats what i thought so my boost never went past 18 psi it usually range between 16 and 17 psi ,so i dont think using a mbc had nothing to do with my engine blowing up. hey guys im more relaxed now that i know im getting a new engine and this time im going to be very carefull. i will like to thanks all of you for at least reading my post and understanding my problem, i will definately help a member here in need if something like that ever happens, im keeping this car for now it will be very unwise of my part to sell it or trade it now after spending lots of money on it,once againg thanks everybody.
