I have retarded timing at idle to the point of the car stalling and throwing fuel....tech that shouldnt be possible with a piggy back. Stock timing is 9-11 degrees at idle, ive ran 17 for over a week and nothing changed it back to 9-11.....

OP, sucks about the car. i'm not sure how the clip holding the wrist pin could get out if it was basically against the wall of the cylinder. seems as if it were an oiling problem, and there was some form of seizing going on at the rod/piston wrist, and as the piston broke, the pin happened to fall down and be at the bottom of the pan, intact. the piston would have to have broken for the pin to fall "inwards" toward the center of the cylinder without scrambling the sidewall of the cylinder (have you seen those yet? are they scored up badly?)


so when does the AEM EMS come out for the MS3? i want my 5 minutes back.

i agree. ive been getting a ton of fuel in partial spoolups right where we added it wot. makes the car gurgle/pop a little more than it used to during shifts out of those rpm ranges. you think thats related or not?

absolutly it does....look at the cpe vta tune....high rpm LOW THROTTLE VOLTAGE, pull -81 percent of fuel. That means when your off the gas at a high rpm, almost all the fuel is pulled. If piggybacks didnt work in closed loop...their vta tunes would not work

Well Randy, to be honest I dont know shit about my car. I havent seen it since i gave the keys to them all those months ago.. I know I am probably getting a pretty good price on some of the parts but most I had already before hand. Sponsorship I have no idea, I think cp-e will sponsor me and p3 and street unit already does but thats nothing big to me. I dont know, guess we will see.

For normal people this shit is too expensive. Between rent car note and insurance I don't know how people do this shit. If I moved back home this probably wouldn't be so bad. Cp-E's a good company to be sponsored by even cobb is cause they are producing a full range of products for the car.

He did 285 on 16 psi and 300 on 18 psi according to the dyno charts. It was bumped down to 16 psi until he installs a catch can. Did he state somewhere else in the thread the other numbers? I didn't feel like reading the other posts lol.
