Default bottome end noise

I should take the time to introduce my self but I got a problem i currently own a 07 mazdaspeed 3, and recently changed out my VVT actuator since the original was damaged and also changed out the timing chain and tensioner since actuator was being install.Anyways with the original acutator i had a terrible tick, but still had smooth idle to compression lost and still had very good oil pressure my mechanic removed the oil pan and found to spun rod bearings. They finished my car today after waiting a month and a half and they said the top end noise is gone but there's still a knock coming from the bottom end and he said something about a thrust washer and main bearings being replace and play exceeding the .55 mm limit.Help need advice car has a corksport full turbo back exhaust kn intake and thats it.

Learn to type.

Sounds like you need a new mechanic. Thrust washers and spun rod bearings are apples and oranges. It doesn't take 1.5 months to replace spun rod bearings.

That's just my take.

did they have the timing tools? They would have needed it to change vvt, chain, etc ...

GL, make them replace what ever they damaged

Sounds like that dealer is on an island both figuratively and literally. Tell them to get their heads out of their asses and call some dealers on the mainland.
