Ok so I figured instead of starting a new thread id just bump this one.

I went to irwindale raceway tonight (1/8 mile) and on the 3rd run my clutch broke at the line. This time I couldn't drive it at all so I think the clutch disk or flywheel broke.

The pedal is stiff car goes in/out of gear fine but if I let the pedal out the car doesn't go anywhere or stall or anything.

No I dont I forget what they use.

ps that blows brotha. The most concerning pic of the OP is the pic of the pp friction side. IMO. The fact that it appears the disc material doesnt touch about 15mm or more of the ID of the PP and the fact that it appears much larger in OD than needed is quite concerning. If thats true I cant see the claims of torque holding capacity accurate as that is a lot of surface area that is calculated but not their in reality.

I tried looking for the material used for the disk but nothing. And if thats true then they need to redesign the whole thing to make it right.

Well I know they did redesign the PP and I got the "new" PP that was supost to fix the finger problem which sound like they did but now another weak point has come out.

Ok I left work early and jacked the car up and found this





clutch works great so I called the shop where I bought the new axle (a month ago) and they are getting me a new one on Tuesday hopefully this wont happen again.

^^^ hahaha thanks and idk if im going to go back to the track. Im leaning torwords road racing now. I did manage to run a 9.3 at 76 tho and that was with a 60' of 2.4 lol that was my 2nd run. the 1st run I ran a 9.5 at 77 with a 60' of 2.2. My tune isnt perfect only running 15psi with it tappering to 13.5 by redline (Im trying to run 15 to redline) and AFRs are only 11.6 tappering to 11.4. Im sure I could get it to 9.1 or maybe even 9.0. with a 20psi tune 8.8 at 81 lol
