Carrillo Rods

anyone haveb theses in there car? or anyone else have any opinion about these vs. pauter rods?

their both great companies, cant go wrong with either choice.

They are essentially the same thing, though the design is different. They will not break with the power these motors are capable of making. Pauter is cheaper if that makes any difference.

does anyone know what types of metals are used in both these rods

Don't know about Carrillo (but I am guessing it is the same) but Pauter uses E4340 Chrome moly Steel for their rods. I use them in all of my race engines. I get custom rods in half the time at a much lower price from Pauter than I have ever gotten from Carrillo.

I don't know much about Pauter but I have never had any trouble with Carrillo's.

There lead time on custom stuff can be long though.
