| Not Ranked : 0 score Thats what I have and its much louder than stock...it burbles , crackles, and pops!! Much louder than stock!!!! The quietest CBE is stock... At autocross races, you barely hear the stock exhaust MS3s...when I'm on track, you can definitely hear me... ![]() Your only option would be to go to a muffler shop and have a 3" CBE made with a couple of resonators and a muffler... They could probably make it quieter than stock...with the 3" pipes.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The HKS isn't that loud. The TurboXS catback is LOUD. I have the TXS DP/RP and the HKS catback and its got a good grumble but not too loud by any means. The TXS TBE is crazy loud--- no mufflers FTL. I had this setup on my car for about 2 weeks when I knew I had to swap out the CBE. |

| Seriously, they are all loud. if you want something quiet, stick with stock. If i could do it all over again, i would get the corksport.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think the Cobb cat back coming out fairly shortly is aiming to be relatively quiet versus other CBEs. There's an old video clip of the Cobb TBE that sounds nice and subtle, but no idea how it's changed since then and where they'll end up soundlevel-wise. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The Cobb turboback exhaust is amazingly quiet. It shocks me every time I hear it in action. Even when the catback is mated to an uncatted DP it is quiet. My CS DP/RP stock catback is louder and drones more than the CS Turboback with stock mid pipe. I was very impressed with the CS catback. It has a nice deep rumble to it. Its not the loudness you need to be so concered with, IMO, but rather the pitch. Its the ear piercing exhausts that draw attention. More so than a deeper exhaust note, anyway.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have the CPE DP/RP and stock from there back. Its almost as quiet as stock. A little louder but the stock exhaust hides alot of sound.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would say that my cs dp/rp (all catless) made the exhaust quite a bit bassier and louder, but true, it was nothing like bolting up a catback on any of my cars I've owned in the past!!! I am kind of looking for the same thing. I am trying to maintain a certain level of volume (at least inside the cabin) yet yield a more aggressive tone and a bit of burble outside the car. Some say remove the first resonator to get the individual pulses sound, thoughts??. Others say remove whatever or throw on a cbe, but add a high flow cat to the testpipe to control the volume. I know people say it doesn't reduce performance but I feel like it has to reduce performance a bit. |

My CP-E catted DP according to CP-E only robs me 5HP or less... This thing can flow I tell ya; you can see right though it (light shines through). If you want a quiet exhaust, just keep everything stock...or have a muffler shop make you a 3" stock sounding exhaust; it will probably cost way cheaper than whats out there; but won't be made out of SS.

| Not Ranked : 0 score thanks for that video it sounds good. i love the sound of the cpe dp and everything i've heard about it is good as well as cpe's reputation overall, i'm just having trouble justifying almost $800 for a dp after adding the hi flow cat in there. then you have to drop another $500 at least on the cbe. does someone have a hook up i don't know about or something? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yes it does. The corksport unit is quality too, just have to check stock before you order as sometimes they like to fab on the go. -Jeff at PG

| Not Ranked : 0 score The corksport and recing beat sound the best to me. If I didn't scoop up one of the last Cobb catbacks I would have probably chosen the Racing Beat. How's the drone factor on that one?
