If it came from a manual, yes. In fact it is the same one on many different models.

Check the part.

Don't order a new one take it apart and check the seal (rubber ring) it will be ripped making it leak. Just take it to a local part shop they will sell you another rubber ring for around 2-4$.
I've repaired 3 of them and they all had the same problem. :scared:

I'm curious, did you replace the slave with one for a three? I got a slave for a three and the piston wasn't nearly as big as the piston in the slave for the speed 3. We installed it and the clutch was so heavy it was like driving a dump truck. It caused the master to fail. Replaced the slave and the master with the slave for the speed and its still heavy but way better.

the slaves definitely have different piston diameters

Thats wierd, the dealer said mine came from a regular 3, had a red boot, and fit perfectly.

well, dealers are idiots lol. We had them side by side and the difference was clear as day. The slave for the standard 3 definitely fit but it definitely wasn't right. Im also not running a stock clutch.
