COBB AP
 

Just looking at the COBB AP and reading the requirements for Stage1 and Stage 2 maps and i am VERY confused. Do you HAVE to have that brand of CAI to run that tune? I looked at the map notes but they are very bleak any insight would be much help.

the OTS maps are tuned for the cobb intake or Mazdaspeed CAI. you may need to make ajustments using ATR. you can look at the old posts on cobbs forums to see what parts people were substituting, but best results would be using ATR to tune for your specific modifications.

I don't get it..If you were at the Cobb website and looked at the Stage1/2 maps, then you must have surely seen ATR and what it is and can do...

Yes they have plenty of people that answer questions, i thought that's what a forum was about? I did post in the new members section so you can take a look there and find out why I'm here, maybe use the search feature? I'm just sayin.

yeah well i'm lazy and since others brought up the oddity i asked since it was already in this thread...

I'm not over here to try and hate on MS3's or whatever I am just here to get information. I am going to be picking one up soon and wanted to see what I could find out before i purchased one that's all. Some people have gone out of there way to be nice and welcoming to me and some have not oh well that's life.

IMO the AP maps are more or less suggestions for you to go by, you should always go gets a retune
