| Not Ranked : 0 score I do not have a problem with the shortest setting at all. It feels great, I have really been enjoying the shifter for the most part. When rolling to a stop, I have always put a small amount of pressure going into 1st and let it slip into gear when its ready, never force it, but it does go in at a slow roll. 2nd gear starts for me if I am in motion.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just a FYI: Stock peice is rubber and can be pulled off by hand. It's glued on alittle. Be carefull of the retension spring when pulling to get the shifter out, you might break the spring stopper if the spring slips from your grap lol. Anyone want a free upper shaft with a finer thread pitch for different shiftknobs that don't fit ours lol. J/K. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I know this is an older thread but... i just wanted to revive it because yesterday my 20 minute short shifter install became 2 hour install and didnt fuckin get pussy cause i was pissed as hell at the fuckin clicking spring coming out of place... ... i thought i had bent the spring while uninstalling the stock, but then i realized that the stock has a rubber thingy instead of the metal one on cobb, as mentioned already here... i switched that from the stock to the cobb.... end of my problems!.. everyone should do this.. day and night, no more clicking |
