(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Corksprot Boost Tubes Hypertech Reflash CP-E Cold Air Intake COBB Turbo Inlet Pipe CP-E Top Mount Intercooler I am trying to figure out if adding the CP-E Downpipe with a cat, would require me to add a HPFP? I know that CP-E offers the full HPFP but that there are two manufacturers that sell the components to swap it over to the higher pressure version. I know I have read several threads and I don't really have a good concesus either way. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yes you need a HPFP. You can do either the full HPFP or the internals. There was a nice group buy going on for Autotech Internals....Need to be VIP member to access though so donate and hit it up: http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/foru...tosport-99473/ |

| Not Ranked : 0 score So usually I would tear you a new one for that question but your only 4 posts deep so you have a bit of an excuse.... Get the fuel pump internals, dump that piece of shit hypertech and get an AP. If after those 2 things you wont have money left over for the downpipe- dont get it yet. Also, theres nothing wrong with the cp-e downpipe but I personally don't like the way that company operates and won't ever buy anything from them. Look into these instead: Corksport(What I'm gonna be runnin- well the ms6 version) Mazdaspeed 3 Downpipe CorkSport COBB Downpipe: CobbTuning.com - SS 3 Downpipe

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'd say ditch the hypertech, and spend the ridiculous CP-E dp cost on a accessport. You'll get equivalent gains from the accessport that you would the downpipe, and at least at this point you won't need a Hpfp, and you'll be losing the lame HT.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Forget the CP-e DP. Buy AP, and internals Then Buy the CNT catted downpipe for half the price of the CP-e... I, and many others did, and it's just as good. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Or, like me, the ebay dp, which is doing great for me even with BT. and it was $150.

| Not Ranked : 0 score +1 on CNT catted DP. smells like there's not even a cat in there, sounds great with the CNT CBE too. There's just one bolt that is almost impossible to get a wrench to.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I don't normally preach for people to donate but everything you need is currently in the FS section. Catted dp's and AP's. Plus there is a group buy on the best internals out there like someone already mentioned. I've actually read several post's regarding how shitty the CNT catted dp is. Seems like its actually more restrictive than factory dp according to a few tuners here. Quality is nice, but the cat is no good. Last edited by SLOWHATCH; 12-19-2011 at 08:52 AM. I have been running it for 10K. Def not worse than stock. Don't know who said they are, but claims like that should be backed with proof. | |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I was able to buy the CP-E used for $285 shipped. I might just sell it and sell the Hypertech and get the Cobb AP. Do you think I should just keep the CP-E since it was so cheap! Which of these two kits you do you all think I am better off getting? I see there is about an $80 difference in each. | Not Ranked : 0 score OP: If you haven't spent your money yet, consider the AutoTech CDFP internals and keep your HT tune for the time being. HT tune works very well with bolt-ons, including a catted or catless dp (see mods below), and even fully bolted, as long as you stick with the stock K04 turbo. You can always go AP later, if you really want to. Get the internals, then add the downpipe.
