CPE xcel problem

Installed my xcel intake today and when I shift into r,1,3,5 the shifter weight hits the intake piece. WTF? did I do wrong. Also my ABS light and traction control come on. I figured I must have done something wrong.

Can I adjust the weight. I haven't tried to clear anything w/my dashawk.

U have to adjust the pipe... in the directions it tells u to adjust the pipe so that the shifter weight will not hit the pipe... u should be able to move it around so it will have enought space to clear it.. or buy a lighter shifter weight if u cant figure it out cus they are smaller

That thing will sound like you have a 500 amp vaccuum cleaner hooked up to your engine. Ditch it and get a Nano SRI it sounds much less intrusive and you wont have the interference issue with the shifter weight. I had the CPE CAI on for one day and pulled that shit off. I also order the Nano, just in case, at the same time for this very reason. With an SRI you won't have to rip your wheel well liner off to change the filter, just pop the hood and take it off. The power difference between the 2 wasn't noticable to me.

flip the shifter weight around.
