I haven't ordered any parts yet even but at this point i'm wonderin if i should go forged or if my rods and pistons check out to just fix it up and sell this fucking piece of shit. I'm SO discouraged with this car anymore its always somethin fuckin up!!!! __________________________________________________ ________________________________________________ Opinions guys to forge or not to forge?!!! (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Labor alone is 4500 between pullin the block breakin it down fixin the seal and intake valve readjusting the valve guides and all the other cleaning and prep before reassembling the motor. Yeah fucking ridiclulous i know. The 5 hundred is from new bearings, gasket set, the valve and new rings thats it. I'm not too happy but hey live and fuckin learn

On a side note, I am begining to wonder if the injector seals are fine and it is just a weak rail that cant hold the injectors in place well enough to seal. I have a rail sitting here and I really dont think it can handle those kind of pressures without flexing. Along that same line of thought, the Ecotech which Ford is running uses a very similar DISI system and they had to redesign the fuel rail because it was flexing and causing injector seal leaks.
