Default Cylinder 2 misfire Help!!!

Hey guys I got a check engine light and the code is for cylinder 2 misfire and low fuel pressure. I erased the code and it has not come back but i was wondering if there is a way to fix this by changing the spark plugs on cylinder 1 and 2. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Swap the coils on cylinders 1 and 2.. If your misfire moves the coil is bad, if it doesn't replace your injectors(all 4).

Not much you can do about the FP MIL, do you have a log of your actuall pressure??

At least your asking the right dumb questions...LOL

I rather see 100 posts like yours than one more "how much HP will I make?", but there will be ten more of those by the end of the day..

I also know of another member offline who asked me to check a CEL. He was getting random misfire and misfire on cylinder 4.

He claims the car has been driving fine and the code shows up after shutting down and restarting. I have cleared the code and it has not returned yet but he might have a bad coil as well.

Swapping coils and checking plugs is a good idea but, the low FP needs looking into. I seriously doubt you need to replace the injectors. More likely it's early signs of the CDFP going bye-bye.

That said, a code that disappears and doesn't recur is possible. The ECU has chucked a few CELs on this car without there actually being any issue. Car ran perfectly and, dump the code and no return. It's the peril of sophisticated engine management that there are alot more failure modes possible in just the managemnt.

The car only did this when it was cold first starting it and it turned on and turn right off about 5 times and after it stayed on thats when it turn on the check engine light. I had the guy at the auto parts store erase the codes after i found out what they were but the code has not come back. I checked the spark plugs they looked some what black but ok and i switch coil number 2 with 4 to see if i get the check engine light again tommor to see what happens. But if you guys have any other ideas please let me know.
