skHTE, search ebay "mazdaspeed 3 test pipe" and look at those... they look exactly the same as the one you have pictured.

It's $109 shipped.... I think I have to try this one

Kinda upset that its a ebay brand cause I paid basically what it costs new...

My test pipe looks very similar to this one:
MAZDA SPEED 3 TEST PIPE MS3 MAZDASPEED SPEED3 TESTPIPE : eBay Motors (item 130372147973 end time Mar-12-10 0816 PST)

Except that mine is black... I just hope there are no fitment issues and hope I wont regret it. Should of saved up a bit more and got the SU test pipe...

I bought the ebay one. I haven't installed it yet to give you a review, but it looks fine. During my tp research, I learned that sls performance sells a steel pipe. Your pic looks like their ceramic coated steel version.

Installed my Ebay testpipe yesterday...got mine for $108 but it looks like the sellor has raised prices to $124. Still worth the higher price IMO but it is getting close to the brand name stuff.

Fit perfectly and looks exactly as the Ebay pics. I love SU and CS stuff but for a "pipe" that's gonna sit under my car and never be seen, I'm ok with a no-name so long as it fit which it did. The quality was great - welds were nice and so was the material. Had a nice weight to it and didn't feel cheap. The ebay pipe has a loose flange on the CBE end so alignment is easy...i can picture pipes with two welded flanges having issues if they are not made perfect.

Came with a gasket (for the DP end) which i didn't use. The CBE end does not require a gasket. Also came with 3/8"x3" long bolts, nuts and washer which I also didn't use..I bought stainless hardware at the local hardware store.

Here are some pics of it installed for people who have reservations about the ebay product...

i don't know if its been said but the original test pipe by corksport was designed to mate to the stock down pipe 60mm,
so the flange on the test pipe was smaller to fit the stock dp. the test pipe is 60mm and also the other end of the test pipe was 80mm flange,
and fit the 80mm flange cbe so the down pipe was 80mm flange so when you ran a full cs cbe. you had a fitment issue on the dp to tp from 80mm to 60mm to mate together. they sent me the new one with 80mm on both ends fits perfect.

the dp was an after thought probably forgot the smaller flange on tp to fit stock dp would not work on the 80mm dp

mine kicks ass, frign loud in the cab though!!

So far so good for me...but I've only had it for a day (or 30 miles). My test pipe was an ebay one but I followed instructions from another manufacturer which said to tighten the bolts until you have about 1 mm in the gaps of the coils of the spring...I did this for the CBE end but the DP end was hard to see the spring gaps.

I think guys who tighten the shit out of both sides may have rattling issues.

Well I was wrong...while idling at the drive through this morning, I noticed that I did have a slight rattle.

I can hear it most when I'm in the car at the drive through with the window open. I can also hear it slightly when I'm outside my car with my ear around the front driver side tire.

Its not that bad but I will probably get under the car after work and loosen the DP end by a turns or so.
