Does anyone else hear this when...... Alright ive had my speed 3 for 3 days now its a 2007 and has 30,050 miles and the only thing ive found so far is when im letting the clutch out in 1st and have the wheel turned pretty far i hear a light grinding noise that almost sounds like rubbing but ive checked and the tires arent rubbing, also i do not hear this noise when i let the clutch out in 1st and the wheel is straight......anybody expierienced this before? |
Never heard this, but do you have stock suspension? |
yea all stock suspension you think it could be blown struts? im just hoping its not anything clutch related |

It's normal driveline noise. I have it too. Lots of MS3's do. The sound increases if you swap your trans fluid to full synthetic. Just get used to it. Besides, it only does it when your hard turning in 1st so don't even worry about it. |
thanks man, yea i was thinking it had something to do with the FWD bc i have only ever had AWD or RWD cars and the sound doesnt sound harsh or anything just something i wasnt used to. |
No worries. I freaked out when I heard this for the first time. Mine wasn't completely audible until I swapped my trans fluid. Now, it's pretty loud. I don't pay attention anymore, it's just the way the car is. You accept it and move on. |
i hate turning the wheel all the way... or turning the wheel without the car moving in some direction, i just feel bad for the tires... i was pissed when people parked so damn close to me i had to |
