@Tomas Update? It's been about a month so maybe you have a few miles on the new Spec 3+. Is the disengagement getting better now that the disk material is wearing in/down? Would a oem TOB be the way to go or is the facing material too thick and it just needs to thin down a bit?

Yes, the disengagement is better now after a little wear on the disc. Only minor synchro grinding if you don't shift from 1st to second the right way. All other gears work fine. Clutch is pretty grabby though. There is really only about 1/2" of travel from no engagement to complete engagement. You get used to it but sloppy gear changes won't do here. It also does stutter on take off if you are in the wrong rpm band but not more than the disc with kevlar
/ ferramic I was running before.

Can't say if an OEM throwout bearing would have prevented it. Would be nice if the next person getting a spec 3+ were to measure the spec bearing and compare it to stock.
