Engine losing power

Hey guys, figured I'd ask around here to see if anyone has a solution before I start taking stuff apart. Alright so here's the story, I've got a 2008 mazdaspeed3, stage 2, custom tuned etc. just recently I winterized the thing, the only performance part switched out was the front mount inter cooler, I put the stock set up back on.

Since then I've noticed some flaws, for example if I throw my car into neutral it will either bounce back and forth between 500 and 1000 rpm or it will 'stall' on me, by stall I mean the battery light goes on, sounds like the car shuts off, and power steering cuts out. The weird thing is I don't need to turn the key to get it back on, it comes back to life after a couple of seconds! Anyways, on top of that I notice a bit of a power failure when I'm driving at a constant speed. I can have my cruise control on and it'll feel shakey like the engine is stopping briefly. It's not enough to slow the car down but it's definitely noticeable. So this happening I decided to test out the power on my car. I floored it in 5th and there was not much of a response, basically the rpms just went up.

I did not get a tune on my car after I took the fmic off, could this possibly be a tuning issue or do I have a bigger problem? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance for your input!

Do you have an ap? Check for loose or disconnected vacuum hoses or boost associated components. I have a hunch it may be that you're running lean. Furthermore, what's this about stage 2? I've heard multiple noobs say this. I'm assuming you mean you have all the bolt on's cobb requires for a stage 2 OTS map? Just seems like a weird way of saying it

My guess would be loose connection resulting in a boost/vaccum leak

Yes all bolt ons required for a stage 2 map, thanks for the advice guys I'll take a look! Yes I do have an access port

How old are your plugs? If they are fairly new >10,000 miles I would pull them and check the gap. Set them to .026-.028. IF the have a bunch of miles on them you should replace and set the gap to the same spec. I run autolite plugs from the part store with great success. I initially gapped em to .028 & after 20,000 miles or so i started getting some spark blowout. I checked them and the gap opened to .030. I re-gapped the same plugs to .026 and the issue was gone. I just replaced them with a fresh set @.026 just because they are cheap.

whatever is convenient/easiest, check engine bay or look at your afr's via your ap. I bet they're off. Equally easy: donate

Also fairly easy, post a log

1) same tune from modded to stock? If yes, don't.
2) hpfp internals?
3) who tuned you?
