(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score My engine has been particularly sluggish/jerky before the turbo spins up <2500 RPM. So much so that I have to give it more gas but then as soon as the turbo spins up the car surges forward. It makes difficult for smooth driving at low speeds. It happens at all speeds and in all gears, even on the highway if I let the RPM fall below 2500. My engine is completely stock except that I have a Sure Motorsports Aeros intake. I also have new spark plugs. This problem is exacerbated by having the air conditioning on but it happens to a lesser degree with it off as well. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks |

| Not Ranked : 0 score First post? Member since 2009? I would recommend not boosting under 3000rpms. The car will feel more sluggish with the A/C. Same effect with all cars IMO Did you make sure you gapped the plugs correctly?

| Not Ranked : 0 score What plug brand and gap and a possible vac leak. How many miles? Id assume you need to do some cleaning too, specifically the egr, anyways.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Step 1 put stock intake on and test.... If no improvement... Step 2 pull plugs and check gap..... Gap should be .026-.030 IMO gap properly and test... If no improvement.... Check compression If compression is fucxed.... Max out credit card on built motor, big turbo and supporting mods...
