Has anyone tried to make a flywheel brake? Ive got an old 1/4" sprocket that i could chop up.

This thing got my flywheel unbolted. Im hopeing it will pull through for when i do the crank bolt.

Just a piece of 1/4" steel plate. In my case it was an old sprocket. Drew up the shape i saw in the manual, cut it out with an angle grinder w/ cutting wheel. Then i used a table grinder to clean up and square up the edges. Then i used a file to clean up the part that has contact with the flywheel. The picture isnt the final product. I will take a pic next time im by my car.

That'll work fine, just have and aggressive lip engaging the gear

this worked fine for me, easy peasy

making the sst for the ITFP is a bit of a bitch......
