G-Oil

Green Earth Technologies

Found the link on a deal site. 5 qt jug of "G-Oil" at Wal Mart for $26 (free after mail-in rebate). Bought one to change the oil in my parents car. Any thoughts about putting it in the MZR engine? It is fully synthetic... and biodegradable as well :)

Offer expires by the end of the month to celebrate Earth Day.

gtlaw 04-17-2011 05:08 AM

gay oil

ScarMS3 04-17-2011 05:31 AM

Blows your engine so you can't produce emissions?

JLee1469 04-17-2011 11:26 AM

Haha actually read what the oil is all about.

Change your OIL, change the World&#8482
While reducing our Dependence on Foreign Oil
Grown & Made in the USA

Introducing NEW Environment Safe, Ultimate Biodegradable* G-OIL "GREEN" Motor Oil, the world's first and only American Petroleum Institute's (API) "SM" Certified bio-based SYNTHETIC motor oil. By blending nature's American grown base oils (domestically sourced beef tallow) with nanotechnology, G-OIL provides superior performance & protection during the maximum oil change intervals recommended by vehicle manufacturers while meeting or exceeding requirements.

PERFORMS LIKE A SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL, NATURALLY!
Everything else is CRUDE

Where are the patriotic members here? Who wouldn't want their car lubed by cows?

Oh well, will definitely put it in the beater.

gtlaw 04-17-2011 12:59 PM

seems like somebody found an industry that didn't have the word green attached to it yet. in my approximation they will make their money. people will find out that blowing up their engines sucks. they will go the way of the dodo.

Seems it's beef oil. Taste it for me.

CTSpd6 04-20-2011 09:10 AM

Its used in the Mazda powered LMP1 car in the American LeMans series. Does anyone buy the argument that since its used in racecars, it has to be safe for production cars?

jracer 04-20-2011 09:20 AM

just cuz they say its used in "race cars " doesn't really mean they are using it....
just saying..

Raider 04-20-2011 09:21 AM

Say this thread after a repost. Considering that the Dyson Racing team has been using this in their LMP2 car without engine issues, I am going to give it a shot. Just need to grab another quart of it for a change. Will see how things go.

SRTie4k 04-20-2011 10:09 AM

I can't wait to see PETA's reaction to this stuff.

True, but the race team is saying they use it.
Dyson Racing: News

The Dyson team has partnered with a product called G-Oil, which is made from American grown base oils and blended with the power of nanotechnology. G-Oil bottles are 100% recyclable, are made from recycled plastics, and even their labels are recycled paper printed with water based inks. And by the way… you can buy the same oil the Dyson car uses at Wal-Mart.

skawt01 04-20-2011 11:45 AM

Thanks for the post. Cool product, and the test results are equal to or better than petrol and synthetic oils? I'm skeptical yet interested.

JLee1469 04-20-2011 12:08 PM

Ill stick with PP or M1 on the MS3. I did go back to wal mart to get more for the daily and they sold out :(. Can't beat free oil, synthetic and green makes it even better.

labikesrcool 04-20-2011 06:48 PM

until i can change my oil and let it drain through the storm sewer i don't think they should call it environmental friendly.

does anybody else's local recycling establishment not take oil bottles even though they are recyclable?

char181 04-22-2011 12:17 PM

Al Gore uses it in all his vehicles and his jet. It's all about your carbon footprint bro.

Raider 04-22-2011 12:26 PM

That is not a selling point, unless Al Gore uses it while hunting Manbearpig!

gtlaw 04-22-2011 01:20 PM

I actually bought this shit because its free. I'm not going to use it in my ms3 its going in my winter beater sentra.

the biggest selling point to me is its made in the usa so it reduces foreign oil dependency. if it turns out to be good shit that would be cool. also its not hazardous to humans so it just says to wash your hands with soap not the usual legal statement about avoiding repeated contact, because the state of california says it causes cancer

He was actually hunting "hanging chads" with his evil twin John Kerry.

Raider 04-22-2011 06:13 PM

No, I am fairly certain it was Manbearpig....

JLee1469 06-19-2011 03:08 PM
