does the sti cobb knob fit the ms3?

E4Performance 11-20-2009 08:38 AM

I am certainly willing to look at other knob options. However, right now, It's just me and I only have 1 CNC machine, which means I have to tackle projects one at a time.

Ok. Just in time for New Year's, the knobs are done. I have some in polished and some in flat black.

I will have them up on the site for sale in the next few days.

jracer 12-24-2009 10:19 PM

E4Performance 12-24-2009 10:30 PM

It's going to be $65 + shipping. (and that includes the 6 speed engraving, which the other guys charge an extra $15 for)

IndianOutlaw 12-25-2009 10:18 AM

There is another company that makes knobs that has a similar design. There are plenty of pics of their flat black and installed. That should hold you over until I can get some out in the field and people start posting installed pics.

Very soon.

Thanks,

FULLBLOWN 01-01-2010 11:38 AM

What are the spacer looking items included with the knob? Are they different weights, or possibly height adjustments?

They are for height adjustment.

I got to say....I just put a about 60 city and highway miles on this Knob and plate combo and it's so nice. I've never had a heavy shift knob before this and WOW what a difference.

Thanks,
Jamie

corbs 01-01-2010 07:22 PM

curiuos to see the outcome... a nice annazidzed black would be sexy.

HLR Element 01-01-2010 10:38 PM

pics of the black knob?

E4Performance 01-02-2010 02:29 PM

Re: Heavy Shift Knob that doesn't cost $100+

Black knob will be done on Wednesday and will begin shipping immediately after.

We're also exploring the option of red numbering on top. We'll see how that goes.

E4Performance 01-02-2010 02:30 PM

Re: Heavy Shift Knob that doesn't cost $100+

And as Jamie said, a heavy knob is a massive improvement. Makes each gear just glide.

FULLBLOWN 01-02-2010 04:48 PM

That was my next question about the black knob, whether or not the numbers would be colored.

HLR Element 01-02-2010 06:00 PM

i think having them colored would be cool... if not, i'll try it myself and paint 'em on

Sorry about that, I was really just screwing around with the title of this post. It was just a copy paste of Heavy Shift Knob that doesn't cost $100+.

I am really liking the progress for the knob, and I am interested on any future customization options you will have. I would be interested in a ball that had Mazdaspeed on it. Till then, I will probably stick with stock.

I hope this works out well enough to where that may be an option from you in the future.

E4Performance 01-04-2010 08:57 AM

Alright colored tops will be an option soon.

Available in Red, Black, Yellow and Blue on the Silver Knobs. Red or Yellow for the black knobs.

Attached is a picture for example.
