HELP So i was driving home and when i launched from a red light, i had some wheel hop and wot 2 to 6th gear, didn't think anything of it did it again at the next light, when i got to 3rd gear wot, i noticed it peaked to 20psi and immediately went to 10psi, and couldn't get passed 10psi So i pulled over and checked a few things on the AP and noticed my hpfp at idle was only 80-150, it wouldnt stay constant, it would fluxuate after getting home i got a few codes, cylinder 3 misfire and running too rich bank 1 got some responses from the facebook mazda community and they were certain it was a relief valve(dealership calls it a pressure valve) anyways, made a day of it and got to it and cleaned it some suggested it might be seized but i don't know what a seized valve would do or look like there was some noise coming from the hpfp so i had a shop replace the autotec internal with my stock one, shop didn't notice any wear in either the fuel pump nor the internals im leaning towards replacing the entire pump itself or replacing the pressure valve what do you guys think? Im thinking its something really simple than this.... |
