| Not Ranked : 0 score i wish you would have checked the tensioner pulley before stocking the car out. my ex bf danny had a similar issue and there was a fucking tiny pebble lodged in the pulley. he even bought the replacement parts, but we didn't need em. he removed the pebble and the sound went away. | |

I thought my car only had a 3 year/36k mile warranty (I'm at 37k)... but apparently it has a 6 year 60k powertrain warranty through Mazda!? So after fighting with my extended warranty company, Mazda Roadside Assistance ended up coming to get it free of charge. Now I'm just hoping that the serious NATORIZING we did to stock out will be ok, and the fact that I uninstalled the AP without puuting any miles on it will be ok. Unfortunately I couldn't go to the stealership with the car

It wasn't part of the powertrain warranty though. My 3Rd party warranty picked it up. They offered a rental but i have a GAS GUZZLING 04 blazer to drive around in..

the part itself retails for about 150, but it shouldn't take too long to replace. i think you can also find some non oem replacement for much less. | ||

Would you like me to admit that I'm a Noob? Does that make you feel better? If you would like, from this point on, i will just pm you every time i have a question. Better yet, just pm me your phone number so i have direct access to the Mazdaspeed 3 God! That's why i bought the warranty, so i don't have to fuck with shit that I'm not comfortable doing. Plus, the more times i use it, the more it justifies buying the damn warranty in the first place. Its a 0 dollar deductible, so why not be safe and let them deal with it?

The noise is gone, and my baby is running great for the most part.... except it's slow as shit and and has become a mute  . No turbo noises, No power ESPECIALLY after 5500 RPM... I feel like I'm driving a fucking HONDUH or something! Plus, I can't re-mod for another week or so  THIS IS THE AWESOME PART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While my car was there I asked the stealership if they could change my diff fluid cuz I was hearing a slight whining sound coming from what I thought was my LSD (also what some forum members were guessing). It was not an RPM related sound, it just got higher and higher pitched the faster I went, almost like tread noise... ANYWAYS, after changing the diff fluid with a full synthetic, they took my car for a spin... The noise was still there. After doing some tests and replacing a few things, they could not diagnose exactly what was wrong. After talking to the warranty company, since my transmission had already been rebuilt (cuz of a broken shift fork). That was about 1500 miles after I got it... I AM GETTING A WHOLE NEW TRANSMISSION AND LSD
