(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score so we put it on ramps and then placed the hydraulic jack under the tranny...gave it maybe 1/4 inch of preload... took out the stocker...was in perfect condition.... the bolt hole was 90% lined up and to my surprise i was able to move the tranny around by grabbing the front of it and pulling it towards the firewall to line the hole. torqued it to 90ft lbs and buttoned it up . my son and i went for a ride and HOLY FUCKEN HELL..... same impression i got from my trz derlin way back when.... fucken blender now....jesus everything rattles, the new clutch sounds like a diesel , car at idle sounds like a '32 ford with glasspacks.... fuck ...... on the flip side.... car feels super solid.... barely give half throttle to 2nd and it lights em up....but zero hop.... im sure in about 300 it will settle in and the rest ill just get used to. glad i did it, peace of mind for when the 30r goes in on sunday.... one thing that i noticed was some weight on the right hand side of the plate that fits over the mount.... wtf is that?? anti vibe counterweight??? anyways...car feels more like a fucken racecar every day.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Dude the vibes don't settle. I had mine on for 4 months and after my last autocross session, I took it off until next season. The noise is ridiculous, sounds gross.. The vibes are too much and shifting makes me feel bad for the transmission because I can hear the clanking of gears going into place.. I don't like that. But, taking it off made my car with just the TRZ RMM feel like a smooth quiet luxury car haha. But gotta say, the benefits were great. Zero wheel hop whereas I feel now the RMM isn't even doing anything.. Wheel hop galore compared to when I had the tranny mount on.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Are you serious? TRZ poly is perfect. Only my e-brake button makes a buzz. The only reason I have been weary of the trans mount is becuase of ALL the vibes and sounds you gain. Another alternative would to get the kicker mount, but i dont know how those vibes are comparatively.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score seriously on the way here i was contemplating pulling this shit off. i measn i got noises at idle, accelerating, decelerating ....cruising. idle i hear the clutch loud as fuck freewheelin in there decel i hear dragging brakes sound..that i can only imagine is the clutch accelerating i feel vibes on all pedals and might even get now KR at times i never did dont get me wrong, there is zero wheelhop ..i mean zero!!! but its hard to trust your brain that everything is tight when the car sounds like its falling apart im gonna give it 300 miles and then decide

I just did the redline mt-90 with Amazon a couple weeks back and the car is somewhat quieter overall, plus it got rid of a lot of the "chatter" with the car out of gear and the clutch out at stoplights, which got on my nerves more than anything. Just a thought.
