While i have my engine all apart, what is the best combination of components for a long lasting motor? This is my DD and i dont want a race motor thats gonna last me 50000 mi. Driven respectfully with the occasional wot.

I would say, forged rods and pistons (not sure you can go wrong with most).

Then you should add Meth spray to keep your valves clean :-)

EGR delete will help with the valves

Meth is good for cleaning valves and preventing knock but meth systems in general are not super reliable. There are just a lot of things that can go wrong and the fail-safes required to guard against all of them will add up in a hurry.
