| Not Ranked : 0 score Indeed. It's way too fucking loud. It reminds me of the weak ass Celica that drove by me the other day. The sound from that thing would have drowned out an apache helicopter.

| Not Ranked : 0 score There's no reason to make your exhaust that open other than to get noticed, especially at the power levels our cars are making. A lot of people seem to think that since race cars are loud, louder is better. What most people don't realize is that most of the reason race cars are loud is to create the spectator experience. How fun would it be to go to a race at watch an F1 car or moto gp bike go by at 190mph+ if it didn't make lots of noise while it did it? It is a little different for a turbo car, but you're never going to notice a power increase from removing all 3 resonators compared to 2.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think it's just about perfect with the two resonators out and the muffler in. All three out is a bit much, but then again, the SRT-4 is not a benchmark of good exhaust sound to me. Sounds too hollow and I would think to the average person, it'd sound like something is wrong with the car.

i agree it sounds mean as hell at wot but not too loud at idle and barely noticeable while cruising. But the drone is getting on my nerves im not gonna lie, im thinking about cutting out the stock muffler and maybe putting a magnaflow muffer or something in place of one of the stock resonators. Has anyone done something like that?

| Not Ranked : 0 score I just had the rear resonator removed on my car. It sounds great. My brother has an 07 and it took us removing one resonator and the 2nd cat to get his car to sound like/near mine. It is weird how the same type of car can produce different sounds. Maybe it has something to do with the tune on the different year models. Anyway, mine sounds more quiet cruising the interstate than it ever did before but sounds just right for me at idle and going through the gears. |
