subparpunk03 02-21-2009 06:16 PM

Its ok, I'll be there when he rips a hole in spacetime and travels to the year 3000 to hang out with Bender Bending Rodriguez.

I am posting it nowish.

socks 02-21-2009 06:27 PM

Maybe you should tell aunt jane not to make out with me. Ever consider that? Also, don't let me drink bourbon, it makes me do bad things.

socks 02-22-2009 03:20 PM

put 40 miles on it today.

bleeding the clutch was a PITA. because when i hooked the fluid line back up to the slave, the rubber seal inside was cocked sideways so it was leaking when the pedal was pressed. It took me about an hour and a half to realize there was even supposed to be a seal on the plastic clip. It was still in the slave.

anyways. im just happy i can drive it again now instead of the goofy buick ive been driving...

now, to plan my trip to cp-e/p3 :)

ms3guy22 02-22-2009 03:25 PM

^ pm me lets go up together. i'll have everything except a tune by this time next weekend.

Thanks all.

I really have to thank subparpunk. He'll tell you he was only a set of hands, but I couldnt have done it without him.

MS3guy, what do you mean everything but a tune?

I have my new maf parts (not welded together though) and my new map sensor should be here tomorrow. I think thats all i need other than some miles and an oil change, but im not sure when ill be able to make it.

whyd you need a new map sensor?

socks 02-22-2009 03:51 PM

I got the aem 3.5 bar.

In conjunction with a standback update, it allows you to accurately control up to 30psi.

My car still thinks it sees 11 psi muwhahahahah. Even though right now all it sees is zero :(

Keep us updates. looking good so far

socks 02-22-2009 03:59 PM

right, but your map sensor still is only 2.5bar, meaning, your standback will see full 5v from that sensor at 1.5bar of boost (21-22psi or so), so it cant control boost beyond that.
