I don't think I should have to use anyones name and I don't have an attitude, you guys want the issues addressed, call us or make a post in our section. I don't browse the forums looking for pump problems or PTP. I want to make sure we get customers taken care of but don't want to have to find the customers online. It makes it much easier for us to contact them through the phone or emails. I will applogize for not contacting you via PM's but I have been vacant from the site a great deal lately due to how busy we are, applogies if I pissed anyone off, but the resposibility to get a hold of us is on your end not ours to resolve the pump issues.

Thanks.

Default Re: Just installed PTP internals..and problem

Everone needs to remember that the upgraded pumps that John sends out are from cores that someone else has returned.

If you want to wait for him to upgrade your specific pump, I'm guessing he will do that for you if you let him know - but be prepared to wait longer. I'm just guessing here too, so don't take my word for it.

Basically John takes the core returns that someone returns, upgrades the internals, and ships it off to the next person who buys the upgraded pump... So if that returned core had a fucked up clip, or scratches on the housing, it goes out like that to the next person.

Since all the bitching about the pump appearance started, you can be sure that PTP will be paying more attention to how your core looks when you return it, and if it's fucked up, don't count on getting your core refund back - just like he already stated about the fucked up clips.

I purchased a stock pump from a member and it had a broken clip too - I used zip ties to make sure the connector wouldn't come off - it ain't rocket science...

Of course its not rocket science. No need to be captain obvious. Buying parts from joe blow and buying them from a legitimate company who backs their products are 2 different things.

it must be rocket science to you if your coupler comes lose whenever it wants like you said here:

and PTP backs their INTERNALS... John doesn't make the clip... All he can do now is make sure that core returns from this point forward have good clips...

There was some major debris in your pump, so I hope that this is not coming from you fuel system.

Contact me so we can work out the details of the break process and the possibility of you getting a new core from Mazda.

If this is a different core could it have been a wrecking yard core? If the pump sat around long enough with open lines water could have started to collect inside of the pump and cause the debris that is inside of it.

I have another pump and internals sitting here, I will make sure that we get them out to you tomorrow.

Thanks.
