knocking in front when out of throttle.
 

Two days ago I noticed what I first thought was audible engine knock, which scared me 'cuz I JUST had the oil changed and immediately thought the worst. After another fifty miles, and carefully scrutinizing the sound, I'm pretty sure it's coming from the driveline. When I'm accelerating or at cruise, there is no noise at all. The moment I take my foot off the throttle the knock starts. It continues until I either a)apply brakes or b)apply the gas. When I'm turning at slow speed, like parking lot slow, I sometimes hear a pop/knock and then another when I'm returning to the wheel to TDC.

My previous car was a Millenia S, and while it wasn't as powerful as the Speed, it had enough torque to blow through three CV boots/axles/joints (whatever) under my ownership. From my memory, this noise is somewhat reminiscent of that problem.

Anyone else had any CV issues?? got any other ideas?? I'm gonna put it on the lift this Saturday afternoon, but I'd like to go in armed with as many ideas as possible.
