i may have numbers tomorrow. Last I heard was fri afternoon driving into the Florida Keys.... my shop expected it to be done by 8-9pm that night. he wanted to know what oil i wanted...lol i havent heard from him since. i'll know first thing in the morning as i just got back today from a very quick trip for my sisterinlaws wedding.

If the cars done we WILL find out what 24psi on a gt3071 makes on a mazdaspeed3 within the next 48hrs!!!!

that 411 car is a fluke...im telling you, your going to max out the maf, followed by maxing out the map...either way its fuel cut. Fucken gay if you ask me and a bunch of us are fed up...lol

i was at 4.7 at 18psi before. and youre right. that 411 totally doesnt count. have you been reading his sell thread on the other forum. hes a friggin disgrace to the community.

he has added n.o.t.h.i.n.g. and now hes selling for a car that hes not gonna "mod". fucking sad if you ask me. all these issues with these cars and hes sad cause he drove his car in, asked for 400whp, and then had to deal with issues. he should talk to me...geez.

its sad when a guy goes straight for a number an doesnt let the car actually grow with the community. gets the number and then bails cuase he doesnt have a friggin clue where hes at, or what hes got, or what hes dealing with. i have read his threads several times and i can honestly say i have learned nothing. i dont even think he knows what psi he made the number on or what the hell the shop even did in order to overcome whatever they did to make that number once.

its not legit. i dont buy it. loosh has a point. if he was running that kind of psi he would have maxed out the maf.

that number he claims he was running 25 psi on a gt3076, and drowning it in meth. it doesnt add up. either hes full of shit, or hes too cluless to realize that the shop he was working with was snowing him somehow. i dont get it. maybe its legit. but lest just say i would have at least liked to hear a little something if he was gonna beat me to it. its not like he was trying to hide anything, which would have been his right.

just a tough situation and a little sad that 400 supposedly went to this guy...this way. anyhow.... probably a little sour grapes on my part. but im excited to make a legit number of my own and share ALL the trial and error for an epic thread that describes all ive encountered over the last many months. THATS my way. and hopefully it'll be appreciated, followed, and again surpassed quickly by others.

its not like im some kind of expert by any stretch.... but at least i attempt to understand what the hell it is im encountering here... thats the fun. this guy was just in way over his head and i question the dyno he posted. based on my converstaions with jordan who worked with his tuner.... we just heard WAY to many versions and variations from them to have ANY confidence that what they said added up..... becuase it didnt. it flat out didnt. were still clueless what went on down there.

that number he claims he was running 25 psi on a gt3076, and drowning it in meth. it doesnt add up. either hes full of shit, or hes too cluless to realize that the shop he was working with was snowing him somehow. i dont get it. maybe its legit. but lest just say i would have at least liked to hear a little something if he was gonna beat me to it. its not like he was trying to hide anything, which would have been his right.

just a tough situation and a little sad that 400 supposedly went to this guy...this way. anyhow.... probably a little sour grapes on my part. but im excited to make a legit number of my own and share ALL the trial and error for an epic thread that describes all ive encountered over the last many months. THATS my way. and hopefully it'll be appreciated, followed, and again surpassed quickly by others.

its not like im some kind of expert by any stretch.... but at least i attempt to understand what the hell it is im encountering here... thats the fun. this guy was just in way over his head and i question the dyno he posted. based on my converstaions with jordan who worked with his tuner.... we just heard WAY to many versions and variations from them to have ANY confidence that what they said added up..... becuase it didnt. it flat out didnt. were still clueless what went on down there.
the saddest part of all of this drama is that everyone is fighting over 400whp which is actually.....nothing especially 2wd
I've seen buttheads that just pay people to do all the work and rarely get the results the guys actually doing the work produce

no surprises for me here
his shop could have easily messed with the MAF tables of the SB to avoid maxing but leaned the car big time during the process.
Couple that with meth and just doing it for that one taped pull on the dyno.....yeah it's possible
But now he is wondering why after taking delivery of the car, it cuts and doesn't run like it did. Wow, another surprise.

seems we are spinning off on a tangent here, but my car on stock turbo is now exhibiting the mystery cut syndrome. Not maxed wgdc, not low fuel, maf isnt quite maxed and im scraching my ass wondering what to throw at the car to fix it.

Dont you guys bail on us cuz Im looking to you big boys to shed some light, no way do I want to be a pioneer or tackle this on my own. So a big thanks to those of you that do share, because without the pioneers us lemmings dont know what cliff to jump off.

i am having some cut right now also but I am positive a FP will fix that. IMO a FP is almost a requirement if you plan on modding the car at all.

Laloosh, it's always good to see you and have your humor for what I can only be described as a long hard day. I personally loved the way your car sounded on the dyno even though I was in Dada's BMW cranking out some work I needed to finish. At the time, I had no idea you spun out but I did think to myself "boy that spools up quick"
