First things first, Donate Brownie.

Don't you love it when the dealer makes you buy unnecessary parts for the one you want?

The problem with Brake fluid on O-rings is some are incompatible. You need an O-ring made of a certain material. Your traditional O-ring is made of Nitrile Rubber. The brake fluid would cause this type of material to swell up. This causes a terrible seal and would continue to leak.

What you need is an EPDM (Ethylene Propylene) O-ring. You didn't specify the size of the O-ring and I have no idea what it is, but amazon has a nice chart for EPDM o-rings (Link below). If you have a caliper, measure the dimensions you need and plug it into this chart. Good luck.

Is the o ring in the metal line or rubber? You can buy a ss line to replace the rubber one if its in that

I agree with Dizzy. Just buy a steel braided clutch line. The rubber line is prone to failure.
