Longblock install?

So longblock came in today. Before my mechanic starts to install just wanted to make sure there isn't anything that needs to be replaced or should be? Or a certain tool or anything? I've searched can't find anything.. And it just seems way to easy to put everything back on, drop it in and go. And is there any one thing that is very important I need to tell the mechanic about. Pretty much just paranoid something bads gonna happen...

take a picture of it.

we can skip alot of the random stuff knowing where it sits right now.

biggest thing i can think of, is if he's putting the CDFP on, to make sure there is a cam follower/tappet in the housing before he puts the CDFP on.

If it hasn't been done already replace the VVT actuator..

I haven't even see it yet besides a picture. The cam follower is a piece that is already on my cdfp right? Just something that has to checked for because would be ugly if was misplaced.

And no haven't purchased a vvt

when you say long block you mean as in the crank pulley all on? if the crank pulley isn't on you need to set the timing on it. and you need the tool. having a service manual for torque specs is a must. if you're mechanic is guess working everything you took it to the wrong mechanic.
