| Not Ranked : 0 score Dumb question but is the MAF connected? I assume that your car will CRANK( i would guess due to your car wanted to pull forward when trying to start in gear so i wont say your starter). So the only wires that you should have taken loose are the MAF, starter, front and rear 02 sensors, neutral switch, reverse switch.. As long as your clutch pedal touches the sensor on the underside of your dash and your neutral switch it doesnt matter about where the slave cylinder is it will start. You can not have one in your car and it will still start.. Even if you left the HPFP disconnected you still can start the car..There is no reason that you should have disconnected the 2 main harnesses. so if you didn't disconnect those wires then your car is should start... One crazy thing is did you connect the recirc hose for the bov? If you want you can give me a call..

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Usually if something is wrong with the maf or is there is a leak (recirc hose off or intake not on all the way) the car will start but will stall after a second or two. I'm 95% sure everything that was unplugged got plugged back in. Is there maybe a ground that would have come off when I took everything out? I know on some cars there is a ground that connects to the starter. I didn't do the starter bolts so I don't know if there was one that came off? Dumb question, but would it crank but not start if the sensor behind the pedal was pushed in, but car was in gear?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hey if you can't get it started and you need it towed. If you don't have AAA you can add a cheap tow plan to your car insurance or cell phone. This is how I avoid paying for tows which seem frequent in my household.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Go back to basics. Car needs fuel, spark, air in the correct quantities. First check that you are getting all three. Then check that you are getting the correct quantities and timing. Check if any CELs have popped as well.

After looking at the car as best we could in the rain with only a couple hand tools, we just decided to pull the trigger and get it towed to my buddys dads shop. It cost $148 but it was totally worth it. We put it in the air and within a couple minutes we found the culprit. The fucking crank position censor was not plugged in. -___- Will said he was positive he plugged it back in. Obviously, he didn't. I guess that's what happens when you rush to get the car out of the shop. We bled the clutch a little more than drove it in reverse, back into 1st and everything aligned up. Car feels great now! (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Wow. So I was babying the car for 500 miles. Was messing around with the AP to put a stage 1 map on the car to rid myself of the fuel cut issues. I pull out of the McDonalds to head to the race this SVT Cobra and start driving and hear this weird noise. I was told it was the throwout bearing by my buddy who is a mechanic. Makes sense but it's so confusing. The noise in the video is the car idling. When I push the clutch in, the noise goes away. When I'm driving the noise is gone, but when I'm driving and the car is in gear without me on the gas, the noise is really loud. Any one else have any other ideas? | Not Ranked : 0 score Do me a favor just for my peace of mind can you disconnect the slave cylinder and shake the shift fork. Your fork should not have but very little play with it. If it is very loose then what i think happened is that when you installed the TO bearing back on to the fork or when you took it off the fork there is a spring on the back of the fork and that pulls the fork back. You might have knocked the spring off or it became disconnected.. Also i hope you put the bearing that CAME WITH the ACT in there as i think the surface of the ACT and the STOCK one are different where they meet the pressure plate... If this is true then you might have damaged the fingers to the pressure plate.
