Matt D's OCC Kit Check valve I want to switch out my existing Matt Damond check valve to the McMaster 7775K54 check valve. Does anyone know what part number his check valve is? I want to verify the pipe diameter of his valve to see whether I can just re-use the fittings that come with his valve on the McMaster. |
Why would you replace the MD check valve? I tested the one on my setup and it works like a BOSS. Tapadatass |

who were the "experts" ? do you run any CEL's relating to the issue? |
I don't think replacing the check valve is goin to help you dude. As a matter of fact the valve is probably 100%. The valve seals under boost, not allowing oil past it and into your intake manifold. At the same time that valve keeps positive cranking pressure from being able to release hense you dip stick issue. What you need is find a way to vent the crank pressure. There are a couple of options here. You can run silverdemon's venturi set up, or u can tap the baffle in the valve cover and hook it up to a vented catch can. Hit up Anthony, he can walk you threw the install as he did me. The hose diameter for the Matt's check valve is 5/8" btw. @SilverDemon @superskaterxes |
