Maxbore question
 

So on maxbores site they advertise port matchin ont the opening of intake manis for an extra $70 on top of the tb service. Think its worth it?

I think that sounds pretty fair. I don't think it would be really noticeable on your butt dyno but I'm sure it would free up the flow nicely. I would do it.

The one thing that i wonder is it says is intake manifold OPENINGS so its not a full p&p i dont think. Hmmm

no, its just the throttle body opening. after the maxbore throttle, there is a VERY small lip. just DIY with a dremel.

if you take the IM off you will see the lip. You dont even have to enlarge the hole. just remove the lip.

save yourself the hassle of removing the IM and do it yourself.

Well, to DIY you'd still need to remove the intake manifold.

I thought there would be room to do it in the bay?

I'd prefer to pull the mani and make damn sure there is no metal left over in the mani.

yea, theres room, but no way to properly clean out the IM after you go at it with a dremel.

it really has to come out :-\
