In other words Adam can't just email you the detailed list of part that that were installed in the car??? How hard can it be...It seems like he has very little clue as well...

At least now we know you have CP-E heads...

Start making a detailed parts list now... we'll update tomorrow...

You have and I have and that's how you learn .its not like you were born knowing everything about Mazda's. So now I'm learning. Alright bro. So if you got nothing good to say then stay out thanks. And thanks to all of the rest who have been SUPPORTIVE AND HELPFUL!

bro, cry me a fucking river, bro. next time I'm be sure to channel my sensitive side so you don't get butt hurt, bro.

But this time, bro, I'm not.

First of all, bro, i unsubscribed and someone else mentioned me. Otherwise i wouldn't even have to even see your whiny rant, bro.

Secondly, i have not done anything but point out your current mistakes as you make them bro. I can't make you smarter, but i can show you how dumb you are, bro.

Thirdly, bro, i haven't harped on them either, bro. You just fuck up a lot right now so i have a lot to point out. Seriously, bro, of you don't get corrected, you'll keep running your engine at wot, to 65k rpm, with an engine running cpe heads, bro. What the fuck do you want me to say bro?! Nod and say,"fuck yea bro, you're fucking awesome."

Piss off. And next time you talk to the fucktard that "built" your headache of a car, take notes bro. So when you come back to report what your car has had done, you can say DEFINITIVELY what the fuck is going on bro.

The only love i can show you is tough love, bro. Sink or swim.

First of all @adlpb thank you very much for you hospitality today!

So, we looked at @S3BAZ1091's car....I know that @adlpb is eager to tell you all about it... So, I will just post pictures and Alvaro will tell you the whole story.

The list of aftermarket parts (confirmed):

Cobb SRI
Blitz air filter
CP-E (?) TIH
Stock exhaust manifold
Cobb DP
Greddy CBE
Stock (!) boost controller
CP-E HPFP
Forge V1 BPV
Custom pipe kit (partially fabricated)
Big core. I can't tell which one it is, b/c I just don't know.
OCC (?) - seems to be working, since Sebastian told us that he emptied it.
NO TIG's, coolen by-pass or EGR delete...

Let me know what I missed.

What turbo? Any issues you guys were able to resolve while you were in there? Also, ride his ass until he gets a new boost controller... EBCS or MBC, he needs something. That explains the boost issues.

adlpb 09-08-2012 06:53 PM

Thanks for the pics Constantin

Yeah the biggest issue I saw was the plug in the first 2 pictures which I found not plugged in. It is right next to the fuel pump, and I'm not 100% sure what it's for. I plugged it back in.

The turbo has an IWG.

Another huge issue was the hot pipe to the intercooler is 2"...a gigantic restriction to the turbo. The hot pipe has also been noticeably welded, probably because of fitment issues or not car-specific.

None of the clamps are T-bolt type, so there could be leaks from all any of them.

Velocity Factor decided to make a full engine/clutch/turbo build and yet leave the OEM boost controller. Once again, fuck that place.

There is also an oil leak coming from the turbo area.

I recommended OP to invest in a boost controller, intercooler piping, T-bolt clamps. Those are just things I saw without taking any parts off. I'm sure there's more to find, granted velocity fucktor built the car

Alejo_NIN 09-08-2012 07:21 PM

what are they/

adlpb 09-08-2012 07:26 PM

I'm not 100% sure.
@Bucker @Lex @rfinkle2 any of you guys know what this sensor is for? It is right next to the fuel pump, one single green wire. He didn't have a CEL.

When I bought my Mazda I saw him driving it a couple times. He would tell me about all the shit he did to his car, like street race it on a constant basis. Judging from this and other factors (such as seeing him destroy his speakers), the "built" engine has definitely been abused.

Being the manager, he also drove 2011 MS3 given from the dealer. They offered to sell me this car with 2000miles on it. I sat on it, it looked like a 3 year old car. Turn the key and the radio was on max volume on a station along the lines of Power96. I walked out of the car. Adam is not the type of guy who would have taken care of his car.

This is were i got my Speed as well Lou Bach. Adam was also bragging about the car at this time i was picking up my speed. VF did the work and they are bunch of rip off artists who dont know there ass from there elbow. Stay clear of Velocity Factor.

G26 09-09-2012 05:56 AM

Got my ms3 from Lou Bach also, luckily it was just off the boat lol.

Blackedout1978 09-09-2012 06:06 AM

They arent doing the PG piping kit anymore. I would try going with COBB's piping kit without the core. It's pricey but i been over it with Ken at protege garage for months now, and doesnt look like there will be any more of the kits anytime soon. So if you have a core and you need piping you either have a new one fabbed up or COBB's unless anyone knows any other options. I think Treadstone sells the uncut pieces. You would have to be very good at fabrication to go that route though. Also i would buy your grimspeed from @eric@edgeautosport Hopefuuly they should have my piping by the end of the wweek its been on back order for ever now. I am driving down to @Sid3wayS place sometime in the next week or 2 for my install, but we can always party at my place haha. I know its too far but i thought i would throw it out there.

Why not cx racing piping? Cheaper

Alvaro, the first pic is not a factory mounting location afaik, so you have some bonus hardware that is probably no longer functional / connected.

The second pic, I cannot tell you for the life of me what the plug is for. I went out to my car and don't have that plug.

EDIT: also searched as many parts diagrams I could find and don't see anything that has a plug / connection like that in that location.

The canister in front of the hpfp is the egr (you likely knew that), but I don't have a clue what either of those 2 pics are. Sorry I cannot help you more.

S3BAZ1091 09-09-2012 08:27 PM

so what other piping kit should i get then? cobb is way expensive for me right now..

warlord 09-09-2012 08:58 PM

Unfortunately there aren't any cheap piping kits. Stick with a mild tune till you save up for a legit kit like a Cobb, CP-e or Ultimate.

Just because your core looks big doesn't mean that's it's efficient either. It's starting to look like Adam blew the motor because small core, high BAT's, shitty tune and then left the piping in place and bought a cheap large core to get the car sold. Save your pennies and replace the whole FMIC when you have the money.

BTW. When I saw your car about a year ago it had a small core so that explains the small piping. It also had Konig wheels on it too.

Ms3_Miami 09-09-2012 11:13 PM

now that your VIP go to the For Sale section and see if someone is selling their fmic or piping kit. If not you can get the cx racing piping kit like mentioned above, it should be better then what you have on now. And the intercooler seems to be from Precision turbo, atleast thats what it says on the end tanks.
After a little research I found a site with decent pictures, they dont look too cheap to me
Import Evolution

Edit: you should move the OCC, cause everything looks super tight around the sri.Since you have the stock motor mounts with the movement of the engine it might slash one of the occ hoses and make a mess.

In my opinion, that's a bad deal. Make a wtb thread for the pipe, maybe you'll get lucky

anavrinIV 09-10-2012 09:09 PM

get a universal kit off ebay for ~$100 and route it. Not the prettiest option but by far the cheapest if you can do it.
