Miss at cruise?
 

Ok so I have noticed for a while now, that when the cruise control is on, and there is a slight downhill grade, the car will feel like its missing and it gets pretty annoying and does it constantly. And also with the cruise off on any level surface or slight downhill grade it does the same thing only when there's enough throttle to maintain speed. If you add more than say 5% throttle, or let off it doesn't do it. I beat the shit out of the car and it doesn't miss a beat, except for this, which is annoying as fuck. It did it with the oe plugs and new Denso plugs. I have put 7k miles on it since I have had it, and didn't notice it since the last few thousand or so.

No mil other than the night I brought the car home, it flagged a p0401. I cleared it and it hasn't been back since. I got lazy and never cleaned the egr tube, and since the code never came back I haven't bothered with it. Thinking this could be an erratic egr flow issue, or maybe nasty ass buildup on the valves causing improper combustion at low rpm? I'm not sure, however getting fed up with it. Since I have been laid off I haven't been able to put an IDS on it, to watch power balance to see that it actually is missing when it is jerking like this, or watch other pids to see what they are doing.... Anyone experience anything similar? or have a sneaking suspicion?

I searched and didn't find anything.

@celery952; what came of this? Mine does it as well. If you watch the fuel injection amount PID, you can see the fuel is being cut off at the times the bucking occurs.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
