Glad to hear you got that sucker on. I have to attempt to install this CP manifold sometime very soon. But luckily I have taken that stocker off a few times now so hopefully it won't be too bad.

Using the extension on a jack is always been great for breaking stuff loose on this car. Nothing else I have is sturdy enough or fits tools perfectly inside.

if i knew you had this i would have drove down to help you with this on one of my days off. lol that bitch woulda been installed in 2-3 hours

i have jackstands, ramps and basically any tool you would need

before you drive it again tighten all the nuts again.

Just fyi the shoulder strap trick is as follows. With the hood off get on top of the engine put a leverage strap around the wrench attached to the hard to get bolt and around your back then pull up with you back and you got enough leverage to break the lock...

I didnt need this. Surprisingly none of my head studs were hard to break loose. I was able to get that bottom(hidden) one off with a ratchet wrench.

I took off all 4 studs in like 5 minutes using a 4 foot section of pipe over the ratchet, and if ur ratchet breaks hope its a craftsman, try using a 1/2" drive ratchet if u concerned about breakage, but then its harder to find apipe big enough to fit over a 1/2 rathet handle, you need leverage your not getting that shit off with 6" ratchet handle.

yeah, a couple times I questioned God and asked him why he didn't want me to succeed with this install. Like when I dropped 2 head studs and they magically didn't make it to the ground. Awesome.

I'm glad you like my used mani!!!! yeah not a fun install!!!!! after losing a few knuckles I would yell out japanese slangs/small hands blah blah blah.... I actually cracked a socket with too much leverage (pipe from jack over a breaker bar) but I was trying to remove the 3 bolts that support the turbo from underneath (i couldn't get at one of the dp bolts and was gonna take the bracket off.... never could!!) the same nut 94jedi was trying to remove on his DP.

my dp and that mani was a 2 day install, having to run out on my motorcycle to get ratchet wrenches and the right o2 sensor socket in the winter with 30 degree weather!!! sucked!!!!

I dropped a stud doing my mani and till this day i can't find it. makes no fucking sense it was on the alternator side.....

Yeah dude. I was shining my surefire flashlight everywhere, trying to trace the path of the mystery bolts. I was doing calculations, I don't know where the fuck those things went.

when you order your coupler make sure u pick up some T bolt clamps cause those oversize worm clamps are killing your engine bay

be careful with those clamps. i was on the 10 heading to tempe and when i got to the tunnel i decided to go wot and all of a sudden the car cut and i'm like wtf. honestly thought the engine went but the engine was still going. looked at the dh and everything was going crazy.pull over and see the hot side popped out from the turbo. changed it to a t clamp the next day.
