Motor mount question
 

Does anyone know the difference between the Medieval and SU side motor mounts? There is quite a bit of cost difference and wondered if the Medievals are junk. Medieval=169, SU=300 bones.

I read somewhere that too many mounts were bad? As in, one of them is bound to break because nothing flexes (i.e. a tree that sways is more likely to survive storms)

I do have a Mideval mount from last December that hasn't given me ANY problems, and I want to either add a tranny mount or side mount

another option is trz tmm ($100) and top speed pmm ($110).

i highly recommend the trz tmm. my favorite mod / gave me a chubby.

as far as the pmm goes, i don't think it's necessary. i got paranoid that the stocker pmm would poop itself so i went with top speed. looks good in the engine bay if you already have cobb blue in there.

Are you referring to just the PMM when you say side mounts? Kind of unnecessary if you haven't replaced anything else but I'm assuming you already have. That's really not the weakest part of the setup (supposedly) but maybe a top speed MM might be in your neighborhood. Effective and cheap, also supposed to be a pretty close match with the stockers. Good luck dealing with DS though.

I have a rmm, but may go with tranny mount from pg to see how I like it. What do you guys think of ptp's kicker mount to go with it? Getting a little hop still.

get the trz mounts and the kicker mount.

if you really want a medieval tranny mount, PM me...I just took mine out to replace it with a PTP since I also installed their kicker mount.

we'll work out something.

EDIT: My Medieval passenger mount was CRAP. My Medieval tranny mount is solid, but I just swapped it out cuz I wanted a set of PTP's...there's nothing wrong with the bushing.

I wouldn't want anything much for it...basically, you pay for shipping and my gas to take it to a post office...

Medieval is pure crap. Their mounts are cheaply made, and half the time they dont even fit right according to most people(including me).
